Gavi 'Pisé' La Raia 2019

The Gavi Riserva "Pisé" by La Raia has been defined by the same company Piedmontese as "the best representation of our philosophy". A philosophy focused on biodynamic and Steiner schools: the goal, since opening day in 2003, was to find and rediscover the original note of the territory, emphasizing the historicity and tradition of Cortese grape. But back to the Gavi Riserva "Pisé" by La Raia, Cortese in a purity that comes from the vineyard Cascinetta, the oldest of the estate, with over 70 years of age. A vineyard that is located 400 meters above sea level and enjoys excellent exposure to South and South-West. The wine is made in the vineyard: this is the philosophy that follows La Raia, in line with the principles of biodynamic vineyards is only with moderate doses of sulfur and copper, taking care of the soil and ensuring the best balance microbiology and nutrition to make more more fertile soil.
