Bradisismo Inama 2021

The Bradisismo by Inama is a Venetian red with international character, inspired by the classic models of Bordeaux blends. It is produced in the Colli Berici area and the name of the wine recalls the geological event that gave rise to the area's hills. The blend consists of a majority percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon, which imparts aromas of cherry and small dark berries, combined with a balance of Carmenère, which helps complete the bouquet with notes of spices and bitter cocoa. The long aging in wood gives a soft, intense, and deep sip, with rich, ripe, and evolved aromas that captivate from the very first sip.

The Bradisismo is produced by an interesting Venetian winery, which has established itself internationally thanks to the quality of its wines. Inama has two estates, one in Soave, where it produces white wines, and one in the Colli Berici, dedicated to the cultivation of red grape varieties, particularly Carmenère. The winery's style is directed towards intense, mature, and expressive wines, closely linked to the

characteristics of the lands of origin. The Vicentine estate extends over about thirty hectares, characterized by clay, sand, and silt soils rich in iron oxide, where the vineyards of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Carmenère thrive. The agronomic management follows the principles of organic farming, without the use of chemicals. The drier and warmer climate compared to the Soave area has proven to be very suitable for red grape varieties, particularly for Carmenère, an ancient Bordeaux variety introduced in Veneto in the second half of the 19th century by emigrants returning from France.

The red Bradisismo by Inama is a label that enthusiasts of Bordeaux blends or Supertuscans must absolutely try. Fermentation takes place with maceration on the skins for about a dozen days. The wine matures for 15 months in barrique made of French oak, with 50% new and 50% used barrels, and completes the aging with a few months in the bottle. It presents a rather intense ruby red color. On the nose, it releases

aromas of ripe cherry, marasca, small dark berries, hints of underbrush, spicy notes, nuances of vanilla and bitter cocoa. On the palate, it shows a good structure with fine and evolved tannins, complex and persistent aromas, and a harmonious and balanced finish. While drawing inspiration from Bordeaux wines, the presence of Carmenère makes the taste profile unique and particular, distinguishing it from many somewhat standardized products.
