Rosso "Arquata" is an articulated and complex Umbrian wine, full and structured. The mouthfeel is dominated by lively tannins, in which freshness is given by Barbera, a variety present in the final blend together with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, vines that contribute to "internationalize" this red. An Adanti label that finds its gastronomic consecration with grilled red meat dishes, as well as with recipes based on game and platters of mature cheeses with semi-hard pasta.

"Arquata" Rosso is made starting from a cut where we find two international vines, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, accompanied by a 20% of Barbera. The vines of these different varieties, all characterized by a fairly high average age, grow in vineyards located about 230 meters above sea level, in mainly limestone and clay soils. After crushing the grapes, the must ferments macerating in stainless steel tanks for 20 days, with daily pumping over and delestage; the post-fermentation maceration lasts 3-4 days. Aging lasts for 36 months, and takes place between barriques and barrels.

"Arquata" is manifested by visual examination with a typically garnet color. The nose is rich, and full of complex scents, where oriental spices make way for the undergrowth vegetation, also highlighting notes of black berries. The mouthfeel has an excellent body, powerful and vigorous, with a sip that is enhanced by a fresh vein and a beautiful tannic texture; the finish is characterized by a fruity and spicy aftertaste. A label with which Adanti winery abandons for a moment the description of the territory to dedicate itself to a more universal style, capable of aging in bottle for another decade, ensuring a very interesting organoleptic evolution.
