rum-abuelo-7-anni
Rum Abuelo Anejo 7 Anni

Rum Anejo 7 years: yet another Abuelo-branded gem, so we could define this distillate whose aromas transport us inside the lush Panamanian sugarcane plantations, a raw material on which the distillery has always focused its attention to produce products of absolute quality. This Rum is characterized by the extremely smooth sip, which makes the drink beyond smooth. Very versatile, it is exciting when tasted neat, but is at the same time excellent for the preparation of cocktails and long drinks.

The Abuelo distillery, in making this 7-year-old Rum Anejo, starts from the pivotal ingredient around which all its production revolves, sugar cane. Only the best is selected, grown within fields not far from the distillery by farming families that have been collaborating with Abuelo for several years. Once the molasses is obtained, it is fermented and then distilled through the use of four majestic stills. The resulting rum is rested for 7 years in small oak barrels, which mostly used to hold Bourbon.

Rum Abuelo Anejo 7 years old manifests itself in the glass with a bold and intense amber color. The range of aromas gently caresses the nose, highlighting mainly fruity and spicy notes, which alternate from minute to minute with more woody hints, resulting from the slow maturation in barrels. On the palate, it is decidedly smooth, soft, with an overall balanced structure, developing on a sip in which there is a slight hint of sweetness. A great distillate, with which Abuelo confirms its blazon, which has seen it at the center of Panamanian production for over a hundred years.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0668/1860/5335/files/rum-abuelo-anejo-7-anni_57152_c97bbc52-b3e0-40bb-b9cd-7780e33130fd.jpg?v=1765393894
