The name of this estate, purchased in 2017 by Max, comes from the walnut tree that towers among the hills and miraculously lives (as it is said that nothing grows under the walnut tree) alongside ancient vines. A true marvel of nature that led Max, a former manager in Milan, to change his life and dedicate himself exclusively to country life. This white wine is made from pure Trebbiano di Spagna grapes, a rare and ancient grape that offers a decidedly aromatic sip, based on an \u003cstrong\u003eunexpected balance between power and delicacy\u003c\/strong\u003e, made even clearer by the joyful image on the label depicting little birds (delicacy) breaking the rock (power).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe “Funambol” is born in a hilly area and is one of the latest creations. The vineyard from which it originates is located facing northwest at about 300 meters above sea level on clayey-silty soils, with a good amount of limestone. The grapes are peeled and do not remain in contact with the skins. The must is spontaneously fermented \u003cstrong\u003ein 400-liter ceramic containers,\u003c\/strong\u003e also known as Clayver or gres barrels. It then ages in the same containers for a few months before being bottled on a waxing moon. Filtrations, clarifications, invasive processes, and the addition of other substances are not part of Max's philosophy.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe wine “Funambol” pours into the glass with its bright pale yellow dress, the color of wheat. The nose has a \u003cstrong\u003egood aromatic imprint\u003c\/strong\u003e, fanning notes of almond, sweet spices, citrus peel, bucolic and countryside sensations.
