The vines grow in two old vineyards classified as Premier Cru in the Ludes area, the Cran and St. Jean, characterized by a subsoil rich in gypsum. In the vineyard, no systemic treatments are carried out, and neither herbicides nor chemical fertilizers are used. The must obtained from the pressing of the grapes ferments slowly in oak barrels, then referments directly in the bottle, following the production principles of the Méthode Champenoise.
