I Nadre

The small Brescia winery I Nadre stands out for its artisanal and spontaneous winemaking approach that authentically reflects the characteristics of the territory of Valle Camonica. This production reality was officially founded in 2008 within the municipality of Cerveno by Fabrizio, who embarked on his winemaking journey with passion and enthusiasm. He was also the first producer in the area to dedicate himself to sparkling wine production, always respecting the winemaking tradition of Valle Camonica.

Fabrizio lovingly tends to the just 2.5 hectares of vineyards that extend over the I Nadre estate, primarily planted with the international grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Nero, Meunier, and Chardonnay, alongside which are also the white grape varieties Riesling and Incrocio Manzoni. The vines are located on the slopes of Mount Concarena, about 400 meters above sea level, in a mountainous context characterized by a cool climate and significant temperature fluctuations between day and night during the ripening period of the grapes.

Moreover, the vines, arranged with particularly high planting densities, benefit from soils rich in limestone and stones. Based on these premises, Fabrizio applies the principles of organic farming to preserve the health of the soil, the plants, and the ecosystem in general, always paying attention to the needs of the vines. In the winery, interventions are few and never invasive, aimed at supporting the most intimate expression of the terroir while categorically excluding any sophistication and winemaking artifices.

Although the total number of bottles released annually is small, the selection from the I Nadre winery embraces various types and styles of wines, such as still whites and reds, Metodo Classico sparkling wines, and macerated white wines. The entire production, quantifiable in a few thousand specimens, makes sincere and genuine purity its strong point.
